VISION

OneWork is an Impact-driven creative partnership between the commercial art world and state schools in inner-city London.

The initiative is directed by Lindon & Co., Ltd. in collaboration with Artists in Residence (AiR), the charity founded and led by Andria Zafirakou, and Sasha Morgan, Director of the Social Mobility Commission.

OneWork hosts a series of exhibitions displaying just ONE great work of art first in a Mayfair gallery and then toured to participating state schools in London.

Core to OneWork's mission is a recognition of the power and responsibility of art and the need for a clear and direct connection between the commercial art world and the communities outside of it. A new breed of socially engaged collectors want to invest in art with the intention to generate a measurable human and social impact. With this in mind, each school presentation will be accompanied by a detailed arts engagement programme specific to the work and spanning multiple subjects, supervised by OneWork’s in-house Community Manager. During the tour the Community Manager will accompany the artwork and work directly with students answering student questions and leading activities with young people throughout the duration of the work's stay at the school.
